Back to School

It was this year that I realized how important of education. I took a break from school for almost two semesters, and  now that I am back, I do my best to have high grades because I want to transfer to a good University. My classes are really going well. I am doing good in my two other subjects, but there is one subject that I need to give attention; however, I  just got a job last week. It was my first job that is why it bugs me a little bit. I still do not know how would I manage school and work. Maybe this is one of the challenges that I have to face. I thought that if I organize the things that I have to do, it would help me to manage my time. I started organizing by listing all my activities on my calender and I think this would help me to balance my school and work. I have a lot plans on how would I handle this situation, but I think what I really need to do is to take an action. The ultimate payoff for going through all of this is I would learn things, and at the same time I will earn money.

Every time that I would imagine of what could I have in the future if I study hard is what makes me motivated. I admit there were days that I am really not motivated, but when I think about my goals in life I keep pushing myself to study hard.  On the other hand, seeing how hard my mother works for my family keeps me going to school but also in life. In addition, I think being optimistic also helps me to stay motivated and to keep going even though  there are a lot of obstacles that I have to face in my education.

  1. Having an optimistic outlook on what your future could lead to is always a great thing to posses as it mentally prepares you for any and all obstacles. With that being said, I wish you luck on managing your priorities and fighting for a good future result!

  2. I like how you said that you have to remind yourself of those goals you're striving for. To me that is truly motivation because no one else is in charge of that and your life, only yourself.
